The So So Glos are a Brooklyn bred quartet of brotherly love. Brothers Alex and Ryan Levine are originally from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, as well as Zach Staggers, whom Ryan met in pre-school. Through divorces and remarriages, Zach became their step-brother and they began playing music at an early age. When the guys began touring they recruited guitarist Matt Elkin in 2007, same year they release their self-titled debut album.
Influenced by the glory days of punks past, their music is helping make punk’s present seem much more entertaining. With wonderfully sloppy blend of angular punk, jangly pop and a little bit of surf-rock, their shows are a sweaty mess filled with raw emotion, political edge, and more importantly, FUN!
The So So Glos are playing tomorrow night along with Wyldlife and Awkward Girls at Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn. This event is 21 years and over. Click on the link to purchase tickets: TicketWeb
