March 9th is the date we fans commemorate the passing of Brooklyn’s illest rapper Biggie Smalls; (aka Christopher Wallace) and for this date, Coogi apparel is proud to announce its biggest (pun intended) collaboration as of yet. Ladies and gents, meet the Coogi x Android Homme collaboration line in dedication to Biggie Smalls and his legacy. It is no secret that at the height of Biggie’s career, he was a huge fan of the luxury line – hence the famous 1995 song “One More Chance” and lyric “I stay Coogi down to the socks.” In honor of the late, great Christopher Wallace , Coogi and Android Homme are ecstatic to announce its exclusive 43 piece special edition shoes and apparel. Exactly 43 pieces were made to match what would have been Biggie’s current age. Contemporary look and pattern selection were produced by precocious designer Aristotle “Esco” Montanez. Ari is Chief Executive Officer for Snkrbst.com and is currently working as Android Homme’s latest protege. Ari is also the offspring of Coogi’s Creative Director, Willie “Esco” Montanez. Willie is a pioneer in contemporary fashion world with well over 20 years of experience under his belt.

To mark this huge celebratory date, Coogi and Android Homme are both hosting a lottery via Instagram. If you’d like to participate and be a part of fashion/music history, send an email to AndroidHomme@coogi.com with your preferred sizes, and/or head on over to @CoogiBrand or @androidhomme‘s official Instagram accounts. If you’ve already made a purchase, feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below. Good luck y’all with the lottery drawing, and don’t forget to #ThinkLikeUs.
